Shipping rates will be calculated using UPS and US Postal service rate formulas. The shipping rate will be adjusted at checkout for heavier orders. Orders to PO Boxes MUST be shipped via US Postal Service. Orders sent to AK, HI, APO, FPO and international destinations MUST be shipped via US Postal Service. Additional charges will apply for those destinations and will be presented at checkout. Orders shipped by USPS that are less than 2 lbs (1 kg) will usually have a lower rate where orders weighing greater than 3 lbs (1.5 kg) will usually have higher rates. Shipping charges will be presented at checkout, but may be available for preview on the product page. If an additional charge beyond what is quoted at checkout is required for your order, we will contact you by e-mail or phone to inform you of the higher shipping cost. We will not charge your credit card or ship your order until you have been made aware of, and accepted, the higher shipping cost. For orders placed with Google Checkout where the fee structure is not available, the shipping choice will be at our discretion.
For orders with incorrect or inadequate shipping charges calculated, we will try to contact you by email and/or calling your daytime phone number. This will usually be to advise of options available. Where we are not able to make arrangements in a suitable alternative, we will cancel the order and reverse the credit card charge for the order. We will not make an additional charge to your credit card or process the order until we obtain your consent. If we are not able to contact you, we will adjust the shipping to the best shipping method that can be afforded with the shipping charges that have been paid for.
There has been some issues with Google Checkout rates for UPS 3-Day Select, UPS 2nd Day Air and UPS Next Day air. When we are not able contact you successfully to obtain your agreement for the additional charge, your order will be shipped out by USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground, whichever is available for your destination (as described above) or which ever is the more cost effective if both are available options. |
