| Reward Points are our way to say thank you for your support and to encourage you to purchase more in the future. Each time you make a purchase at Boardgames 4 Us as a registered and logged-in user, you will earn Reward Points for each dollar spent on games, less any discounts applied. Once you have accumulated enough points, you can use them like cash to purchase products on your order.
Here's the breakdown on the number of points needed to reach certain discount levels:

All you need to do to accumulate points is keep buying games from Boardgames 4 Us! Each time you buy, your points will be awarded when you complete your purchase. When you need to cancel your order, the points will be subtracted. You us your points for future purchases. Each product has a points cost similar to the retail price. You can always visit your customer profile to see exactly how many points you have, and how many points you need to reach the next discount level.
The normal rate that points will be earned is 3 for every dollar. For a limited time, you will earn 5 Reward Points for each dollar spent. That translates to accumulating 5% of your purchase price (for the products, but not shipping or taxes). Compared to 1%-2% for most rewards programs, that is a pretty good value. From time to time, we may have special offers that will increase the points. Also, at some time in the future, the number of points earned per purchases will return to normal value. Additionally, as the prices for products increases, there will be increases in the points cost. That doesn't occur very often. So, the value of your points will continue to be about the same dollar value. |
