If you change your mind about an order you have placed and choose to cancel your order, please ensure that you send an Urgent/Important message indicating your order number and the reason for cancellation. Cancellation requests for in-stock orders placed after noon EST must be received the same day (or during the weekend they are placed) no later than 9 PM EST the night before. For orders which have been received before noon and are being processed, there will be a cancellation charge of between $5 (if caught right away) and $35 (if the order is ready to ship) required. You will be advised of this prior to the cancellation to confirm. Orders placed prior to 1 PM on a business day will normally be in process to be filled to ship that day. It is usually not possible to cancel the order after that time as the order will usually be in process for pickup by the courier company. There is the option to refuse shipment when the package is delivered, but note that shipping charges related to both the shipment to the destination and back to the warehouse will be deducted from the refund.
For preorders or backorders, there is no problem cancelling before the order ships. Where there is a pricing difference which is the basis of the cancellation, we will offer, at your choice either a credit for the different in the form of a gift certificate (in units of $20 or $50) and/or the difference in reware points (100 points per dollar). For refunds to a credit card or to Paypal (more than 60 days after the order), there will be a deduction of $5 to cover processing charges. |
